The primary goals of Apollo are: Eliminate Collaborate's Java dependency High quality audio, video, and application sharing Deliver a modern user experience, focused on education Earlier, Blackboard announced the acquisition of Requestec, a company that has developed award winning technology around the cutting-edge WebRTC media standard for high quality audio and video.
