Heat transfer Conduction – heat energy transfer between objects by direct contact; touching (solid) Radiation – heat energy transfer through space (‘air’); in the form of ‘short waves’ Convection – heat energy transfer by movement of air or a ‘fluid’ by circular movement of “convection currents”
