Statewide Student Management System: General 2015-16 School Year 102 state hosted districts –One vendor change –One new state hosted district 2015-16 started much more calmly!! –Vendors hopefully have better understanding of TN reporting/extract process Restage (all)/20-day periods auto calculate & adjust (4/5 vendors)/SPED data exchange automated (all) SIS vendors asked to do more front-end data validation –Districts hopefully getting more comfortable with their SIS Continue to work in RUG (state and non-state hosted) EIS now processes extracts daily Mon – Fri for all districts –Automated process for state hosted districts –All 2015-16 changes in EIS (all extracts should be on except new 016)

Statewide Student Management System: General **THINGS TO REMEMBER** Enhanced data entry is a last resort to fix errors –Data should be corrected at the source – in your SIS –If SIS allows you to overtype data and they do not send deletes – vendor needs to fix this 2015-16 annual cost payment process –Based on 2015-16 funded ADM counts –Vendors invoice districts for district share on/after August 1 –Vendors invoice DOE (subsidy) on/after September 1 Azure access issues should be reported to your vendor –Vendors have admin access to state-hosted environment –Vendors notify DOE if assistance needed
