2 Educational Institution “Francisk Skorina Gomel State University” Educational Institution «Vitebsk State Technological University» Educational Institution «Polessky State University» Consultations with teachers of secondary schools have been realized оn 16.10.2015, 23.02.2015. More than 25 teachers of secondary schools participated in questionnaire. The most interesting directions for school teachers for GIS-technologies study in ecology, as well as extracurricular forms of ecological education and upbringing were detected.

4 Educational Institution “Francisk Skorina Gomel State University” Educational Institution «Vitebsk State Technological University» Educational Institution «Polessky State University» GIS-Technologies in Study and Research Activities in Geography and Ecology Сourse gives the opportunity to master instruments for studying and modeling one of the most significant aspects of ecosystems – a spatial one, as well as to evaluate and visualize the peculiarities of formation and development of ecological situations in different regions, the peculiarities of structure of ecological relationships and interaction both between natural and natural- anthropogenic territorial complexes and subsystems of one complex.

One of the most significant ethical and ecological properties developed in the process of ecological upbrining and education is ecological responsibility which manifests in adequate, responsible attitude of a person to nature.

Advanced training course will promote the use of acquired knowledge of applied character during the lessons and stimulate the formation of ecological thinking.
