Key-Sun Choi proposed tc37wiki through Kiyong Lee at the first AG meeting on Sunday 15, 2010, NSAI, Dublin. The TC 37/AG then asked an ad-hoc group, consisting of Anja Drame, Kiyong Lee, and ZHOU Changqing to review the proposal. The following is a recommendation proposed by the ad-hoc group.

To accept the initiative taken by Key-Sun Choi on the establishment of isotc37wiki. To form Task Force for Wiki (TFW) under ISO/TC 37 that complements the ISO Server as a semi-open system in co-authoring efforts to produce ISO standards. To appoint Key-Sun Choi (KATS) in charge of new TFW that shall consist of delegates from TC 37 and each of the four SCs.

Key-Sun Choi will lead technical development and service in Korea for isotc37wiki, while the other members of isotc37wiki monitor the operation of isotc37wiki. This will formally be a responsibility of ISO/TC 37, requiring a commitment by Key-Sun Choi as chair of the Task Force for isotc37wiki.

Observations The main function of the wiki is to support joint online authoring. The system must not duplicate documentation that should be kept by ISO/TC 37 eCommittee. Links to resources on ISO/TC 37 eCommittee can be set up: if there are similar mechanisms like ISO- DIN or ISO-AFNOR the story can be different. ISO/TC 37 will appreciate that this can help draw new blood to ISO/TC 37 from various standardization communities outside ISO.
7
Implementations Immediate experimenting of some specific tasks such as coauthoring with the wiki system online. No need to expect a sophisticated system at this stage. The wiki system evolves as needs arise.
