More than 240 languages are spoken. The people born into each language group share a rich history, with age-old customs, beliefs and cultural activities that distinguish them from other peoples.

This is especially important because Cameroon and Africa are constantly changing under the influence of the Western colonization & its economic dominance.

Using a process passed on to him by his elders, Kengmo helps part- icipants use authentic musical instruments & rhythms as tools for self healing, nourishment and empowerment.

Students learn how to use the information that constitutes the root of traditional dances. They learn Central African dance steps with their meanings, and how to use it in their own ways to express thoughts and feelings.
