Romania has a temperate continental intermediate climate awarded by her geographical position.Mean anual temperature is 10*C,there are 4 seasons with wind and irregular rainfalls.The climate is influenced also by the relief.As a result we could differ 3 climate zones:plain,hills and mountains.

A recipe from your country Our traditional food is sarmale with hot porridge.This kind of food(sarmale)is based on pork or beef,also contains rice and vegetables like carrot,onion,parsley, all wraped in cabbage leaf.It has a really great taste if you add some sour cream. The porridge is made of grinded corn. Pofta buna!

13. A famous person Ion Irimescu is a famous person from our city. He is very old. He is the single centenar from our country who has a very interesting artistic career: sculpture. The museum “Ion Irimescu”, is one of the biggest museum from Europe which has sculptures made by one artist, only.
