2. Bidding for 2012 Olympics London were putting all there effort to hold the 2012 summer Olympics and have tried since 1997,now they have succeeded. The estimated bid was 2 billion pounds but it increased amazingly to 9 billion pounds.

3. Amazing Relay Race The Olympic torch relay started on the 19 of may at Cornwall. It will go through lots of towns to make its way to London. 8000 bearers will carry the torch such as Will.I.Am.(For Southport Kevin Stockley will be running. It will travel 8000 miles or 12,800km

4. The Opening Ceremony At the ceremony there will be the lighting of the cauldron, speeches, receiving the head of state, parade of athletes, Olympic anthem and flag, Oaths, Performers and a creative team.

5. Football All of the football played for the Olympics will be played at Old Trafford with all of the teams such as England, Sengolia, Uruguay, UBA. It is 11 a-side and is 90 minutes. Each team on the same day will play after each other therefore giving the ticket holder 2 games to watch.

6. Swimming The swimming is one of the most popular sports in the Olympics because it is so fast. Britain will be cheering on all of the swimmers at London 2012, Paralympics or Olympics!
