Changes made by Lenin 1.Executed the Czar & his family to prevent any further uprising from the Romanov Dynasty. 2.Seized land from the nobles & the church to give to landless peasants. 3.Ended Russian involvement in WWI by surrendering territory to Germany. 4.Jailed & executed political opponents & those loyal to the Czar. 5.Began the New Economic Policy. Its goal was to modernize & industrialize Russia. It was financed by the money stripped from the upper class of Russia’s society.
