RECAP: CHARACTERIZATION Trait Specific Scene Explanation Reminders: Trait should cover ENTIRE movie and that show show in the explanation Character traits, not physical.

RECAP: QUOTE ANALYSIS Why is this quote important? Answers must be AT LEAST 3 sentences long!!!!!!!! What does it reveal about the plot? What does it reveal about a character? Can you use it in characterization? How does it further the theme? Can you use it to make a prediction? Does it reveal something to the audience, but not the characters? Does it dramatically change the why you feel about a character or situation? Is it a plot twist? Was it surprising?

NEW SKILL: TITLE SIGNIFICANCE Is the title significant? Minimum: 2 sentences How does it tie to the movie? Do the words in the title have a significant meaning? What does it reveal about the movie or the characters? Would there be a better title? If so, what? Why?

TITLE SIGNIFICANCE: EXAMPLE Road to Perdition Is this title significant? Perdition: A state of eternal punishment and damnation into which a sinful person passes after death. Utter destruction or ruin hell
