3. Old man Judas showed Queen Helen The Cross was under a big pile of garbage Queen Helen dug and found 3 crosses Which was the real cross? Feast of the Cross

4. Each cross was put on a dead person Nothing happened with the first 2 crosses The 3rd cross made the dead person rise up! Feast of the Cross

5. Emperor Constantine & Queen Helen rejoiced! They built a big church for the Cross Feast of the Cross “God forbid that I should glory except in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ” Galatians 6:14

6. Feast of the Cross Why is the Cross so powerful? Our Lord Jesus Christ crushed Satan & death, and gave us salvation by dying on the cross How do we feel and/or use the power of the Cross? We carry it in our hearts & mind by: praying with it use it all the time … happy, thankful, scared, lonely, sad

7. Praying What is Prayer? A connection to God Connecting our hearts & minds to Him When praying we must: Find a quiet Place Slow down Close our eyes Why? To not be distracted Concentrate better To think about what we say Feast of the Cross
