Information Technology (IT)  Information and communication  Today information is mainly transferred in internet (online).  Internet is a network connection of computers which enables remote communication.  Online education terminology: eLearning and eTeaching.  Computers  Mainframe computers, used by large companies or organizations.  Personal computers (PC) used at home and office.  Tablets and smart phones.

4. What is a computer?  An electronic device that stores, retrieves and processes data.  Can be programmed with instructions.  Computer is composed of hardware and software, and can exist in a variety of sizes and configurations.  Used for remote communication, games and working.
