Banks and Money Conversation Questions: –Do you have a bank account? –What is the name of your bank and where is its main branch? –Why is it important to have a bank account? –Do you think your money is safe in the bank?

Banks and Money New Vocabulary: –Deposit Put money into your bank account. –Withdraw Take money out of your bank account. –Exchange rate (Foreign Exchange Rate) Changing one country’s money to another country’s money; how much you will get. –Balance How much money you have in your bank account. –Bank Teller (Bank Clerk) –ATM Automated Teller Machine –Vault Where all the money is kept in the bank.

Role Play One person is the bank teller and the other is the customer. Choose now. Read your papers. Have a conversation by following your papers. Answer all the questions and write down all of your information; name, address, deposit amount, exchange amount, bank account information, etc.

Role Play Customer: –How much US dollars did you receive for your NT$2000 exchange? –Does the bank look suitable to you? Bank Clerk: –What is your customer’s full name? –What is your account balance? –Why was your customer asking so many questions?

Bank Robbery In groups of 4 or 5 you are going to plan a bank robbery. You have the information about bank security. You must plan the time of the robbery and what each member will do during the robbery (ex. Who will drive the getaway car?) Choose any kind of car. Choose 3 of: –Large bag- pepper spray- large knife –Rope- handgun- shotgun –4 masks- police uniform- dynamite
