6 Teacher Uses Teachers can use podcasts to record lectures that can be saved and viewed later. Podcasting can be a great project-based learning technique that requires higher- order thinking skills. Podcasting projects can be used for any subject or unit.

7 Student Uses Students can work individually or with peers to create and upload a podcast. Students can revisit podcasted lectures or videos. Podcasts can be used to encounter endless information for both education and entertainment.

8 Special Needs/ELL Students The use of podcasts can beneficial for ELL students as well as students with special needs. Great differentiation of instruction. Helpful for audio and visual learners. Allows students to review material as often as needed. Reading Rockets is a great resource.

9 Parent Uses Parents can use podcasts to see and hear what their children are learning or working on in class. Podcasts can be used to introduce the teacher and the curriculum.
