What is the purpose of myths in cultures, and what are some examples that you recollect? Respond in complete sentences. Don’t forget to use proper capitalization and end punctuation.

Listen as I read the story to you. What is being created? What is the role of the gods in creation?

How does the world change after evil is introduced? 5. How do the god(s) respond to human action? 6. Is there a moral to the story? 7. What does this story tell us about the culture that created it?

Look for similarities and differences. Consider the following In both stories a woman lets evil into the world. Is that a fair interpretation of the stories? Coincidence or not? In both stories the source of evil was placed within human grasp. Why?
