2. Poseidon The god of the sea, rivers, floods, droughts, earthquakes, and the creator of horses; known as the "Earth Shaker". He is a son of Cronus and Rhea and brother to Zeus and Hades. In classical artwork, he was depicted as a mature man of sturdy build with a dark beard, and holding a trident. The horse and the dolphin are sacred to him.

6. Poseidon’s Story Cronus and Rhea had 3 boys and 3 girls. One of the boys was Poseidon. His father swallowed him once he was born. Later he was brought back. Poseidon became the king of the sea. He married Amphitrite. He had 3 kids named Ares, Hebe, and Hephaestus. Poseidon and his family live under sea. Poseidon is the god that creates the earthquakes. So the next time you feel a rumble you now know that is Poseidon.
