3. Students will work in pairs to create a timeline. They will research on the internet timeline. They will research on the internet before they choose their American hero. Once they have chosen their hero, they will gather information regarding his/her achievements. Students will summarize important time events and will save the Description

4. information along with pictures of his/her life for later use. Students will start their projects writing about why they chose their hero. Then, about why they chose their hero. Then, they will draw their graphic organizer ( timeline) with the help of a drawing tool.

5. They can prepare two timelines. One showing pictures of their hero throughout his/her life. The other one showing major accomplishments.There should be a minimum of seven dates in each timeline. Once the graphic organizers are ready the students can insert text boxes with dates

6. that are arranged chronologically. The pictures can be added separately. When the students have the information and dates organized, they can enter a brief description for each date on the timeline. Students will share their timelines with the class.
