RACE Project l Design, model, and conduct ADSS experiments l Predict and analyze subcritical multiplication and source-driven transients l Map source importance & flux in and around a variety of ADSS l Provide a bridge between MUSE and TRADE

Driving neutron sources: l MUSE DT-neutron source »~1.5x10 10 n/s, 2.45 & 14.1 MeV l TRADE p + source will make about »10 15 n/s, up to 140 MeV l Quite a jump! l RACE linear electron accelerator: »Up to ~10 13 n/s »Intermediate energy: spallation-like spectrum plus small tail up to 30+ MeV
