4  Ongoing costs: utilities, groceries, transportation, parking  Pets: some allow, others don’t  Gym – included in facility  Some furnished – most not

5  Different types of apartments  Flats: all one floor  Studio: one room total  Townhouses: upstairs and downstairs  Bedrooms: 1,2,3 garage or parking or none

6  Can you afford to live there? Can you afford to live alone?  Where to look: classified section of the paper – listed geographically, rent.com, aptguide.com, craigslist.com
