Using the “My Summer Vacation” bulletin board, list all of the nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, and conjunctions. Then label the nouns common or proper.

6 Adverbs There aren’t any!

7 Prepositions in along by of A prepositional phrase begins with the preposition and ends with the object of the preposition, which is a noun or pronoun. What are the prepositional phrases that go with the prepositions above? Hint: There are multiple phrases for in.

8 Conjunctions and This was the only conjunction I used, and it made the style of writing on the bulletin board very simple. How could I have used other conjunctions rather than and? There are also transitions that would have been useful. Can you identify a few of them?
