Good News is the proclamation of Salvation! The world has been restored to an ideal condition of peace, prosperity, security, etc. because of the new conquering King/Emperor who extends the reign of his kingdom to all who will repudiate what they’ve been depending on and become subject to the new King by reorienting your way of life to align with His laws and ways of life.

How does that apply today? What oppresses people, keeps them captive to live a certain way? What do people need to be saved from? What would people perceive to be good news? What would it be like to be free from what had oppressed and to live in the reality of the new condition of salvation? How do they get in on it?
