3 Main character description  James  Blonde hair, black and white shirt, and rolled up blue jeans.  Lonely(only in the beginning), happy, nice, brave, and smart.  Controlled(he doesn’t panic or yell)

4 Setting  James’ house, the peach, the ocean, and summer.

5 Plot description #1  James’s Mom and Dad get eaten by a rhino. James ’aunts are really mean to him. Later James gets little green things in a brown paper bag, but drops it and the little green things go everywhere, and they scatter to different places near the peach tree, James’ aunts call him to the tree that he was chopping, then his aunts see the small peach but it keeps on growing until it grows so big that James’ aunts are able to make money off people looking at the peach! James enters the peach, and finds new friends, the old green grasshopper, miss spider, ladybug, centipede, earthworm, and silkworm.

6 Plot Description #2 James and the bugs decide to leave James Aunts’ house so centipede chews on the peach stem, and off they go. They eventually end up in the ocean, after flattening Aunt Spiker and Aunt Sponge. Sharks try to attack the peach, but James has the silkworm and Miss Spider to make string to tie around the seagulls necks, to escape the sharks and go to New York.

7 Plot Description #3 The Peach crashes on top of the Empire State Building in New York, and the police and firefighters think James and the bugs are aliens. James then sings to tell the policemen and firefighters that the bugs are friendly. James then lets the people eat the peach. At the end James lives in a seed house.

8 Our Opinion of the book We thought the book was really cool because the teamwork was amazing and there was not a dull moment the book was funny and exciting. We would recommend this book to everyone who likes funny adventure stories. Rating 10 our reasons for the 10 are it was funny and adventurous
