4 China One Child Policy (Population Management) 2 Sentence Summary of the case study: China’s population is worrying to their government, as it is getting too densely populated, the one child policy was put in order to control this (the government would only support one child as you should only have one). 5 Italy- Ageing Population 2 Sentence Summary of the case study: Italy has a large part of its population starting to move from the pre-retirement to the postretirement age group. The government have tried to combat this by raising the retirement age.
