How Oil Spills Affect People  Many animals get sick from a oil spill and some fish will die.  Oil spills can affect people in many different ways.  Eleven of the people that were on the BP oil spill rig died from the explosion.  Also, 17 of the workers on the rig got injured.  They tried get out as much oil as they could get out so then not that many more fish to die.  Workers got hurt from the BP oil spill.

13. What Sicknesses do oil spills cause  PAH is in oil and PAH is known to cause cancer.  Some of these sicknesses caused nausea and vomiting.  It also caused headaches and difficulty breathing.  PAH is a chemical that is in oil that is a dangerous chemical.
