Mass VS Volume Mass: A measure of the amount of matter in an object. Mass is measured in grams (g) or kilograms (kg) Volume: The amount of space occupied by an object. Volume is measured in liters (L) and milliliters (mL) when measuring a liquids or gas and cubic centimeters (cm3) when measuring a solids.
