Teachers and students of Moscow and other regions work and study in the Portal. The work is teacher training, professional support and assistance for teachers, sharing experience with colleagues, pedagogy and ICT-support course training

Courses related to the use of specific educational devices are provided for both support and supplement of ongoing class work and future reference in teacher training

Once a year, to activate work and to share the accumulated experience, master classes and large conferences on selected subjects are held. Teachers and their students from other regions of Russia can take part in such conferences, either in person or through internet connection

Members of these subject-related communities continue their communication in forums. There, assistance can be found when certain difficulties with equipment or software are encountered during teacher’s work at school. Or, success stories can be shared, interesting laboratory experiments suggested to colleagues and friends

Lectures and master classes maintained by the System are very popular means of acquiring new knowledge and better understanding previously studied material. In such master classes teachers can progress following step-by-step instructions

To test their knowledge, teachers use tests, incorporated in almost all of the courses. Such tests help to improve comprehension of the material and work out solutions for more difficult elements of pedagogical practice in the future

If a test is failed, teacher can repeat it as many times as needed to perfect the result

Instructors can always study teacher’s mistakes in each test in detail and help each teacher individually

Through fast and easy-to-fill-in questionnaires, colleagues can express their opinions – for example, which meters to use in chemistry classes etc

Feedback and experience sharing are paid much attention to here. Collections of laboratory experiments, presentations, instructional videos are being accumulated. For those teachers who take this professional training course, such results determine if they have passed it

A great number of teachers visit such courses daily, and daily grows the number of those who enroll in them

And a great number of teachers from Russian regions visit the mirror site of the course

They can get acquainted with each other, communicate with colleagues and instructors, learn and grow professionally
