3 French Christmas Foods In France they eat a cake called Buche De Noel. In Paris, France they eat oysters. In Alsace they eat goose, and in Burgandy they eat turkey with chestnuts.

4 French Christmas Traditions Almost every French home puts out a nativity set made by craftsmen in southern France.

5 Pere Noel In France children call Santa Pere Noel. Pere Noel brings small gifts on St. Nicholas eve (Dec. 6). Then, he visits again on Christmas.

6 Language In France they say Joyeux Noel instead of Merry Christmas.
