Exercise 2. Whatever/However/Whenever/Wherever/ Whichever (+ N) + S 1 + V 1..., S 2 + V 2... Whoever + V 1..., S 2 + V 2... 1. Whatever customers’ purposes may be when they walk into a store, they will probably end up buying something while they are there. 2. Whatever people may need, convenience stores have these items stacked on their shelves already.

Introduction Examples 1.If you worked in the marketing department of a convenience store, what would you do to fulfill customers’ needs? 2.What type of stores do you prefer to go when you go shopping? Why?

Conclusion The ever-growing convenience-store industry in Taiwan is built upon a win-win arrangement for both the stores and their customers. This mutually beneficial relationship certainly goes a long way toward explaining why convenience stores in Taiwan are always open and always convenient.
