page 5 Why use Peer Education Young people appreciate and are influenced in positive ways by their peers It is a more fun way to learn It can give participants legitimacy to talk more freely Participants feel more empowered and develop confidence Peer Educators: Serving as a peer educator provides a rewarding opportunity to young people to develop their leadership skills
