All about regions A region is a area with simular things such as landforms. There are 5 regions in the USA they are Northeast, Midwest, Southwest, and West.

Northeast Appalachian Mountains found in most of the states in this region 4 seasons-Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall We live in this region Coastal Plain - a flat lowland a long the edge of the Atlantic Ocean

Midwest Great Plains - in the west, cold winters/hot summers, produces wheat Produces corn and wheat Made of the interior plain Central Plain - in the east, low elevation, produces corn

Southwest Mostly made up of high plateaus, plains, and deserts
This region shares the Great Plains with the Midwest One of the most famous landforms in this region is the Grand Canyon The Rocky Mountains appear in this region as well as the West
