6. He would come through the woman’s seed. Gen 3:15. Fulfilled, Gal 4:4, born of Mary.

7. Born from a virgin, Isa 7:14. Fulfilled in Mat 1:23.

8. His name would be Immanuel, “God is with us”, Isa 7:14. Fulfilled in Mat 1:18-26, Luke 1:26-35.

9. He would be the “Son of God”, Psa 2:7. Fulfilled: Mat 3:17; Luke 1:35.

10. Prophecy of a forerunner, Isa 40:3; Mal 3:1. Fulfilled in John the Baptist, Mark 1:1-4.

27. These are found fulfilled in the lineage of Jesus as well as in Rom 1:2-3; cf. Mat 9:27.

29. Mat 2:1, “Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem.”

30. Mat 2:1, 11, also fulfills the prophesy of wise men presenting Him with gifts from Psalm 72:10.

31. Psa 72:10, “Let the kings of Tarshish and of the islands bring presents; the kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.”

32. The gift of gold recognized His Kingship!

33. The prophecy of Herod killing all male children age 2 and under in Jer 31:15 was shown to be fulfilled in Mat 2:16.

34. No other god nor any man could or has claimed these things, telling us that Jesus Christ is the one and only true God who became man to go to the Cross to pay the penalty for our sins, through whom we have eternal life.

35. Heb 12:2, “Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

36. Grace Offering Prov 3:9-10, “Honor the LORD from your wealth and from the first of all your produce; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine.”
