MAXIMS OF EQUITY 1. RIGHTEOUSNESS acts upon the person, (forcing him to do what conscience requires). 2. RIGHTEOUSNESS will not suffer a wrong without a remedy (healing, restoration, betterment). (RIGHTEOUSNESS abhors a forfeiture of rights.)
10
MAXIMS OF EQUITY 3. RIGHTEOUSNESS imputes (credits) an intention to fulfill a covenant. IT’S YOUR INTENTIONS THAT COUNT INTENTION: an anticipated outcome that guides your actions an anticipated outcome that guides your actions
11
MAXIMS OF EQUITY 4. RIGHTEOUSNESS acts specifically, and not by way of compensation or settlement. GOD HAS ALREADY JUDGED IN YOUR FAVOR – IF YOU GET ANYTHING LESS, IT IS BECAUSE YOU SETTLED!!
12
MAXIMS OF EQUITY 5. RIGHTEOUSNESS regards as done, that which ought to be done. (RIGHTEOUSNESS abhors a forfeiture of rights.) If God says something, He considers it “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED”! (And he hates it if you forfeit his favorable judgment)
13
MAXIMS OF EQUITY 6. RIGHTEOUSNESS requires him who seeks RIGHTEOUSNESS to do RIGHTEOUSNESS. If you endeavor to obtain equity you have to commit equity Commit: to invest & to tie up as to make unavailable for other purposes to invest & to tie up as to make unavailable for other purposes
14
MAXIMS OF EQUITY 7. RIGHTEOUSNESS regards the beneficiary (heir) as the real owner.

Romans 8 16 The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs (gk. – co-equal heirs) with Christ;
16
Titus 3 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior;
17
Titus 3 7 That being justified (gk. - vindicated) by his grace, we be (gk.- ‘I pronounce you man and wife’) made heirs according to (gk. - by means of) the hope (gk. -confidence) of eternal (gk.- perpetual) life (gk.- Zoë). Being vindicated by His favor, we are pronounced heirs. How? by means of the confidence that comes from the instantly & constantly renewed life of God. Heir n. Anyone who acquires property upon someone’s death which is based upon the rules of descent and distribution. It can refer to anyone who receives something from a will, but usually refers to the child, descendant, or other close relative of the deceased. An heir cannot be identified until the person leaving the property dies because the heir apparent may pass away first. Upon adoption, a legally adopted child gains the right to be an heir as if he/she were the natural child of the adoptive parent or parents and is referred to as an adoptive heir.
19
Galatians 3 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
20
Galatians 3 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. What’s the promise?
21
Romans 4 13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: 14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
22
Romans 4 15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. 15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. 16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, 16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
23
Galatians 3 18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

Inheritance n. The money and/or property received upon a relative's death due to the laws of descent and distribution when a will does not exist. Commonly, the term "inheritance" refers to anything received from an estate of someone who has died, whether by the laws of descent or as a will or trust's beneficiary.
25
Inherit v. Upon an ancestor's death, the receipt of all or a portion of the estate pursuant to the laws of descent. Typically from a parent or other close relative. Proverbs 8 20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: 20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: 21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures. 21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

Ephesians 5 1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savor. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savor. 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
