2. Why painting and movement? I really wanted the children to engage in the action of painting rather than just focus on what they were creating, although that is equally important. I believe that it is important to view art as something that can be expressed through our bodies and not just through physical representations of our work.

3. Lesson #1 Feeling Movement with Painting : Painting on large pieces of paper to engage the children in thought about how they move when painting

4. Goals of the Lesson Connect children’s creativity with their physical movement Allow children to fell their painting and how different movements can create different strokes, textures, and designs.

5. Changes made to the lesson I added music to this activity because the students needed prompting to better help them think about how their movement related to their creativity.

6. Lesson #2 Feet Painting: Children dip there feet in paint and step on a large piece of paper. They can then think about how the paint feels under their feet and how they can move their feet to express their creativity.

7. Goals of The Lesson Allow the children to explore the movement of painting in an entirely new way Explore the texture of the paint in this new setting. Allow the children to see what they can create with their feet.

8. Changes I would make Get larger pieces of paper and allow many children to paint at the same time. Include more paint colors Use paper plates instead of buckets to make the paint more easily acceptable.

9. Children reactions to art The children thoroughly enjoyed slipping and sliding the with the feet painting and enjoyed feel the different sensations and textures of the paint. The children were able to express their movement through the painting through movement, and I noticed many different explorations through the children art in this lesson.
