2. PALM SUNDAY Sunday before Easter is called Palm Sunday. People go to church with an olive-branch. After celebration, people put this olive-branch in their houses as peace symbol.

3. GOOD FRIDAY Friday before Easter is called Good Friday. In many cities there are procession with typicall dress.

4. EASTER DAY On Easter day, a traditional celebration is the dove flight. People, after religious celebration, leave some white doves free to fly as peace symbol.

5. EASTER EGGS Usually people give as gift to their friends chocolate eggs with a present inside.

6. COLOMBA A very typical cake is Colomba (dove). It is a sweet bird-shaped cake. It was invented in Milan and now it's very popular in every part of Italy.

7. PASTIERA Pastiera is a typical Easter sweet cake from Naples. It is made with ricotta cheese and wheat grains.

8. CASATIELLO Casatiello is traditional Easter food from my city. It's made with ricotta cheese and eggs. There are two kinds of casatiello, a sweet one with rice and a salty one with wheat grains.

9. EASTER MONDAY Monday after Easter is called Easter Monday (Pasquetta in Italian). During this day people have a picnic in country side. Usually people cook pork meat on barbecue.
