2. The Story of Easter Easter is a religious celebration: for the Christians it represents the resurrection of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion. The egg is the Christian symbol that is why today we celebrate Easter with eggs.

3. The celebration for kids Today in France kids decorate eggs for easter and offer them to their family or hide them to play.

4. The children also have to find the eggs hidden by the adults during the big “Easter egg hunt”.

5. The celebration for adults During Easter adults play with their children: they help them to decorate, they hide the eggs or they animate the « easter egg hunt »

6. What food for Easter? In France for Easter the tradition is to eat roasted lamb with all the family but this tradition is a little lost. Today the tradition is to eat chocolate, chocolate egg and again chocolate!
