vILNIUS Vilnius is the capital of Lithuania, and its largest city, with a population of 560.190(five hundred sixty one thousand one hundred ninety). Lithuania borders the Baltic Sea, Latvia, Belarus, Poland and Russia,.Vilnius is in the South East of the country.

The currency The litas is currency of Lithuania. They were created by local sculptor Antanas Žukauskas and filed on November 11, 2004. All coins bear the 12 stars of the EU. The name was modeled after the name of the country.
