1. Searching the CMBL Two Helpful HUB Searches – The name of the vendor is known and you want to know if they are HUB certified – You want to procure a goods and services and are looking for HUB vendors to contact for bids https://mycpa.cpa.state.tx.us/tpasscmblsearch/index.jsp

2. The Search Screen Click on ALL Vendor Enter part of the vendor name If you do not know of a vendor, you can search for all vendors who sell a particular commodity. Click on NIGP Class Code

3. NIGP Commodity Book You can use the Search box on the top right corner of the page, or you can select the Whole Commodity Book and use Ctrl F to “Find” a string of characters on the page. Note: Class codes 005 through 898 are goods, Class codes 905 through 998 are services.

4. The Search Screen There are two other options you can use to narrow the search, but are not required such as the Business Category and the county or city. Leave the fields as marked for output. Choose your output – can run to Excel Click Search

8. Tips Vendor ID searches must use the first 11 or 13 digits. You can search by 3 class codes at a time.
