3. What Do I Do When… ► A student transfers to your high school and you get a ‘Duplicate Student ID’ error message when importing the preregistration file to create test vouchers ► You are creating vouchers and you receive the error message ‘Birthdate is input incorrectly’

4. Follow these steps… 1. Log on to Accuplacer as Site Manager or Proctor/Reporter 2. Click on Users 3. Click on Manage Profiles 4. Click on Student Profiles 5. Type in Last Name of Student and perform search 6. Click on Edit Icon (next to student name) to edit information that does not align Spelling of Name Birth date Student ID 7. Put a check mark next to each record (only 2 at a time) 8. Click Merge Students

5. Log on to Accuplacer as Site Manager or Proctor/Reporter Click on Users

6. Click on: Mange Profiles Click on: Student Profiles

7. Enter Student Last Name and Click Search You need to verify the following: Spelling of Name must agree Birth dates must agree Student IDs must agree NOTE in example the birth dates do not agree. (Edit to correct this error)

8. If you have duplicate records/info you need to Edit and Merge Files

9. Merging Files…continued ► Select which ID you need to apply ► Click Submit

10. Merge Files…continued ► Click Yes

11. Success! Merged File Notification
