1 And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples, 2 And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him. 3 And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.

4 And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him. 5 And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt? 6 And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go. 7 And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him. 8 And many spread their garments in the way

: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way. 9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord: 10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

1a. Jesus will command...you! Christ has chosen to limit the Divine Power in your life by your obedience!!! Go your way into the village over against you... Where there is no doubt about the Lord’s instructions to you... there should be no delay.

God will never give you a miracle that reduces your dependence on Him. Faith is a force applied toward a goal/objective... And Faith is a force applied against - fear- lethargy – disobedience And they went their way...

- With normal circumstance... - With other people... - With your own mind dealing with other people and circumstance But where Christ commands He has also prevened.

A.- Acts of Faith 7 And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him... B.- Sacrifice is required... 1b.- sacrifice is inevitable... 2b.- sacrifice is enviable... 3b.- sacrifice is spiritual...

Sacrifice has nothing to do with things... It has to do with our attachment to things. It has to do with our dependence and faith in false things... or our dependence and faith in Christ.

Isaiah 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another John 3: 29-30 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled... He must increase, but I must decrease.
