What is “Communication”? Communication is the activity of conveying information. Communication derives from the Latin word "communis", it means “in common”, that is to share.

Modern Communication - Now people, especially young people, communicate through mobiles and computers. - If the mobile was invented only in 1997, the computer is a bit older than the mobile. In 1943 Harvard University produced the first electro-mechanical computer.

Advantages of Computers and the Internet: Distant communication Easy friendship Direct-instant communication Easy availability of information through engines like Google, Yahoo serviced on the Internet.

Disadvantages - The Internet contains enormous quantities of useless information; - Spamming refers to sending unwanted e-mail in bulk, which provides no purpose and needlessly obstructs the entire system;

- Internet users (Internauts) are often plagued by viruses attacking on their systems. But the Internet allows people to have access and download millions of licit and illicit photos, videos and other X-rated stuff.
