Compound Predicate: two or more verbs that are joined by a conjunction and have the same subject That mammal has wings and can fly like a bird. *Find conjunctions to help find both of compound.*

3 Underline the compound subject in each sentence.
The live oak and the Douglas fir remain green year-round. In the autumn these and other deciduous trees lose their leaves.

4 Add a compound subject to each of the following predicates
