What is Bioengineering?
Applying engineering techniques/analysis and technology to biological and medical problems. Some areas (biomedical engineering) are focused on medical applications and using technology for solutions to healthcare problems (traditional). Others are focused on using engineering principles and ideas to understand the way biological systems are constructed. Bioengineering is very interdisciplinary encompassing various fields.
