2. The early period of human history is called the Stone Age. The earliest part of this period was the Paleolithic “old Stone” The Paleolithic Age Lesson 1: hunter-Gathers This period began about 2.5 millions years ago and lasted until around 8000 B.C

Language and Art Early people communicate with sounds and gestures. They began to develop language in this age. Art was another way of communication.

5. The Ice Age It was a long period of extreme cold that affected the earth. It began 100,000 years ago.
