So why do we make art? Expression: To express personal thoughts or ideas. Entertainment. Movies, TV shows, Comic Books, Cartoons, Video Games. Political and Social Commentary; to voice an opinion on something, like a political cartoon.

Therapy Role playing to help overcome mental illnesses or work out a problem. Comedies: Laughter helps strengthen the immune system. Artifact A product that represents the ideas and technology of a time and place. These are things that connect us to our past; (paintings, plays, poems, etc.)
