ACADEMIC OVERVIEW CONT. DISCUSSION BOARD STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN THE DISCUSSION BOARD EXERCISES EACH WEEK. STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO POST AN INITIAL RESPONSE TO THE DISCUSSION BOARD PROMPT(S) NO LATER THAN SUNDAY AT 11:55PM OF THE CURRENT WEEK’S DISCUSSION BOARD. THEN EACH STUDENT MUST RESPOND TO THE INITIAL POSTINGS OF AT LEAST TWO CLASSMATES. 10 % of Your Grade

GRADING GRADES ARE BASED ON THE ACCUMULATION OF POINTS. POINTS ARE BASED ON: CLASS PARTICIPATION (EFFORT) COMPLETION OF ASSIGNMENTS(DAILY WORK) MAJOR PROJECTS, EXAMS, AND SELF-REFLECTION GRADES ARE POSTED ONLINE AND UPDATED EVERY THURSDAY. Our Grading Scale 90-100% = A 80-89% = B 70-79% = C 60-69% = D Below 60% = F S = Satisfactory US = Unsatisfactory I= Incomplete, student did not do assignment. This grade counts as a zero. Grades are calculated on cumulative percentage and are rounded up whenever possible.

MAKE-UPS AND LATE WORK: YOU ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE ASSIGNED TASKS ON THE SPECIFIED DATES. ANY CONFLICT OF SCHEDULE SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THE INSTRUCTOR’S ATTENTION DURING THE FIRST WEEK OF CLASSES. YOU CAN ONLY MISS AN ASSIGNMENT/QUIZ/EXAM IF YOU HAVE: A) NOTIFIED THE INSTRUCTOR IN WRITING/PHONE BEFORE THE ASSIGNMENT/EXAM AND HAVE OBTAINED PERMISSION, B) YOU SUBMIT SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS SUBSEQUENTLY, AS APPLICABLE.
