2. 1.1 I can describe what types of information are needed. Logo Idea 1 I do not want this logo to be my final logo because its too small and untidy. Logo idea 2 I do not want this design to be my final design because it doesn’t stand out very well. Logo idea 3 I WANT this logo to be my final logo because it looks posh and professional

3. 1.1 I can describe what types of information are needed. Business card Address, so as people can write to me. Mobile phone number, so as people can contact me. Email address. To be contacted through. Company name. So as people know the company. Logo of my company to be easily recognized. Name and job title. So as people know my name and what job I do. It is important for businesses to have business cards because it helps people remember you they show that my business is professional and they take you seriously.

4. 1.1 I can describe what types of information are needed. Letter Logo of company so it stands out, people know it’s our company.. Address of company.so as people know where to post letters to. Phone number and email address of company. These are contact details for people to use. Name of company. So as people know it’s from me. It is important for letters to have a letterhead so that those who receive your letter see you as being a professional company and one that is real and not fake. It also means they will take you more seriously.

A typical newsletters made out of a series of articles which that informed readers about different things to do with the topic or the company. In my newsletter I included about food and technology and each article included a tittle information and a picture. Also in my newsletter I included page numbers of articles I thought people would be interested in. I also used the newsletter to advertise my company showing that it is professional. I included a paragraph about my business and lots of contact information incase they want to know more or contact me.

Wave I do not want this design to be my final design because it doesn’t stand out very well or fill the page. Portfolio I do not want this design to be my final design because there isn’t very much space for information. Quadrant I WANT this design to be my final design because it looks professional and has space for information.

7. 1.2 I can describe how to change page design and layout to increase effectiveness of a publication. Moss I do not want this colour scheme because it doesn’t stand out enough. Glacier I do not want this colour scheme because it doesn’t go together, the colours clash. Olive I do WANT this colour scheme because it stands out and the colours are the same tones.

8. 1.2 I can describe how to change page design and layout to increase effectiveness of a publication. Publisher is a desktop publishing software which includes lots and lots of templates. These templates can be used by professional businesses to create things like business cards, posters, leaflets, newsletters etc. By using a templates, companies can make sure all their paperwork matches and this makes it look more professional. Also, you can choose a colour scheme to go with each template. If this matches then people will recognise your company and remember you. In my work I have chosen to use the same template and colour scheme throughout as I want people to remember how ‘fantastic’ my company is!

9. 2.3 Describe how copyright constraints affect use of own and others’ information. Copyright law is a law to make sure that no-one takes someone else’s work and says it is their own. This is important as it allows the person who has done the work to take the credit for the work. It can be applied to written work, pictures, videos, music or anything really. I followed copyright law in my work by keeping a source and store table. I put my logo in this because my logo belonged to vistaprint. I also kept the websites of all the places I got articles from for my newsletter. I did this because the articles are not my own and this way I could prove that I had taken them from someone else and not pretending they were my work.

Templates can be edited to suit you business logos, colour steam and design you can add your logo to you need the right soft where to open these files if you have made a business card to show to someone else you can say as a PDF or print..PDF – portable document format., its portable as anyone can read the file, you don’t need the soft where where it was created on to look at it saves all the smaller files preserves formatting so things look the same,.JPEG/.JPG – joint photographic expert group, picture and on cameras is called JPEG, images on the internet good quality doesn't take up so much space,.PNG – portable network graphics, saves pictures with a transparent background,PNG good quality big file size use PNG pictures for a logo.PSD – photoshop document, really big sized files, good quality,save pics/graphics from photoshop as PDF,JPEG,TIFF,PNG..TIFF – Very large file size, primarily used in the print industry.

11. Publisher is a type of software we can use to create publisher files. There are different templates you can use like invitations, invoices, cv, letters, business cards etc. Templates can be edited to suit you business logos, colour steam and design you can add your logo to you need the right soft where to open these files if you have made a business card to show to someone else you can say as a PDF or print. If someone creates something using publisher and sends it to someone else who doesn’t have the software they wont be able to open it. This can be useful because anyone will be able to view it. If an image file is created using Photoshop and someone doesn’t have Photoshop then they can save the file as a range of image types. These image types are PNG,JPEG,TIFF. There are a few keys differences between these types of image, there are mainly about quality and file size. In my work I saved my logo as a PNG because this is a good quality image with not too big a file size. PNG can also save with transparent backgrounds which is a useful thing for a logo as it means it can go onto any publication easily. 2.4 I can describe which file format to use for saving designs and images.
