1. A day in my life Tuesday 14 th June 2030 By Morgan Boore

2. 7:30am I was really tired when I woke up. It was a long weekend and I spent most of it at our holiday house is Sydney. I have school today and have to get up. I am out of routine because I didn’t have to get up early the past three days unless I wanted to. Mum is calling me for breakfast now so I better go. I quickly program bed bed to make itself.

3. 8:00am I got dressed and went down-stairs. I grabbed the electronic knife and programmed it to cut me two slices of bread and butter. As the knife went to work I went and said hello to mum. She was sitting at the kitchen table on the internet. Ever since internet helmets were invented that is almost all she does when she isn’t at work. I have to yell extra loud so that mum will hear me because if I pull the helmet off she gets angry because I de-plug it and she might be in the middle of some- thing.

4. 8:30am I have to go to school now even though I don’t leave the house. Mum goes to work at 8:15 and I get onto the computer. Mum lets me use her helmet so I can get a picture of school. All the class logs on and so does the teacher. We still do work and if we have a helmet then we get a vision of a class room. Our teacher is really nice but also very strict. His name is Archie and he is 25. There are 10 in our class and we all think he is the best teacher ever. Our class is half boy and half girls. We all live very close to each other, walking or slide-gliding distance and we normally go to each other’s house for the weekend. Classes start at 8:45 so I better go.

5. 12 noon Archie lets us stop for a half hour lunch break but we are allowed to eat when-ever we like. We normally do to the café around the corner from my house to have a quick snack. We have decided not today and just stay home.

6. 5pm Classes end at 5pm and we usually have quite a lot of virtua-work to do. It usually takes about 3 or so hours to complete. Today we have a fair bit. We have 3 Maths pages, 4 pages of an interview to fill out, some English pages to do and some L.O.T.E.. L.O.T.E. is ok but the word L.O.T.E. is really old and I think we need a new word like, Word something or other. Any way I better get to my virtua- work. Picture From Clipart

7. 8pm Done! Finally! I have finished my virtua-work and I can have dinner. I get out a mini pizza -hand size- and place it in the oven. After about 30secs I pull out the pizza. It is very hot and it takes to hands to carry it. Pizzas enlarge in the oven. I have to sit down to have dinner now. Picture from clipart

8. 8:30pm It is time to start brushing my teeth and going to bed. I have really enjoyed sharing my day with you. I hope you have learned a lot from what you have read today about a day in the life of an eleven year old, 2030.
