2
Experiment We will attempt to find average and max wind speeds at different altitudes.
3
Experimental Design These are the materials and the instruments in which we will perform our experiment with. We used a 4”x6” Gondola which held all of our instruments 1000ft of Nylon Cord Kestrel 1000 Wind Speed Anemometer 16 gauge piece of metal at 4” to hold Wind Speed meter High winds require stabilizing tail
4
Expectations We expect wind speeds to vary at different altitudes Expect 5 minute interval for data collection between altitudes. Expect to find accurate average speed and maximum speed
5
Data
6
Conclusion We conclude that both average and maximum speeds increased with an increase in altitude. This being, because their was more movement of air at a higher elevation.

Acknowledgments We’d like to thank Mrs. Bredensteiner and Mr. Kliewer for working countless hours on making this event possible. We’d also like to recognize David and Colin, our mentors, along with all the mentors of each team and Tobin James Winery in allowing us to hold our event here.- Team H.F.M.A
