1 RAAA Soccer Board Meeting & Minutes 1/28/2015

2 Minutes – Part 1 Introductions 2015 Soccer Fields (Slide 6 for details) We reviewed the field allocations for 2015. We have the proper amount of space for this season and feel good about being able to accommodate all of the kids. Ryan will send the allocations to David C. for review. There are additional follow-up questions that we have for him as well. We need to be aware of REV schedules @ Flint. Ryan will coordinate with REV. New Uniform Vendor (Slide 7 for details) Universal Athletic will be the new uniform vendor for 2015. We selected two packages based on age groups. Pre-K through 3 rd grade will wear a kit similar in style to last year but with an improved material. The 4 th through 9 th graders will wear an updated kit with a third color and a fun, unique style. You can review these samples on slide 7. The total cost for the new uniform package is projected at $20,392 inclusive of all fess, taxes, and shipping charges.

3 Minutes – Part 2 2015 Fees/Budget/Registration Review (Slide 8 for details) We reviewed participation projections and financials for the upcoming season. Ryan and Ann will review the proposal with the finance committee on Monday, 2/1. We have adjusted the fee structure for the 2015 season and beyond. League fees will be $65 (Pre-K to 3 rd ) and $80 (4 th to 9 th ). This change is reflective of the additional costs for these age groups including uniform and referee costs. Soccerfest & the Jamboree will remain relatively unchanged for 2015 MN United Partnership We have agreed to partner with MN United, Minnesota’s professional team. We are very excited about this new relationship. More details in the near future but the highlights include: player appearances at Soccerfest, coaching clinic assistance, sideline passes for the kids, and tickets to games.

There is plenty of daylight so we can have two 6-9th grade practices on same field in one night if REV needs fields. We may have to coordinate with college game at DCTC stadium field on the last week of the season. Would the City provide smaller goals (4' x 8') at DCTC for 1st graders? Would the city provide the 4th/5th grade goals (7' x 21') at Meadows and all other City locations?
