What are fables?
Fables are narrated stories intended to teach a lesson. Usually stories include animals that act and talk like humans.

Narratives that presents part of the beliefs of a group of people or explains a practice.

metaphor: makes a comparison by saying that something IS something else.
example: Frank was a snake. The vacant field was a desert.
hyperbole: a great exaggeration.
example: She’s the happiest person in the universe.
